England is my spirit country.
I just returned to the States after a 3-week jaunt across London and Western England, and I fell madly in love with everything about it: the food (it's actually quite delicious), the people (that ACCENT), the weather (yep, even the cold, dark, rainy weather), the landscape (unbelievably beautiful), the culture (witty, understated, proud, and kind). I would move there in a heartbeat.
Now that I'm back, my daily indulgences of chips and gluten-free afternoon tea must come to an end. It is time for a serious cleanse. And I'm starting it today, Monday, 1/16.
