Day 2 - Cleanse 2017

With me finally being back home in sunny, beautiful, glorious, cozy Los Angeles, I was much more resolved today to stick to the cleanse protocol.

I started the day with warm water and 1 drop of Lemon oil, and then took 2 digestive enzymes. About an hour later, I followed that up with an insane juice combination, which I somewhat regretted: kale, apple, wheatgrass, turmeric, ginger, and cayenne pepper. I can't handle spice, and the cayenne pepper that was sprinkled on top of the drink nearly burned a hole in my nostrils. Note to self.

About 1.5 hours after that, I had a delicious green smoothie with banana, pineapple, spinach, kale, and cinnamon. I was really starting to feel some energy come back to me. Raw food power.

I waited too long to eat lunch, so by the time I did, I was tired and cranky, and ended up eating too fast. But I ate my favorite salad, so that made me happy: romaine lettuce, celery, cukes, snap peas, olive oil, herbamare, and nutritional yeast.

I waited WAAAAAAAAAY too long to eat dinner, which was supposed to be baked sweet potato with roasted broccoli, onions, and carrots. Instead, I went for the craving, which was a vegan, gluten-free tuna melt from Sage Vegan Bistro. Could have been worse ...
